 Opis: Head of Financial - Accounting Operations directs the handling of all the Companies accounting functions. This position is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the activities relating to accounting, fiscal report, debt management, treasury functions including cash management, investments, business licensing administration, and sales and tax administration, real estate, risk management, purchasing, and warehousing. Head of Financial - Accounting Operations with the President is responsible for the formulation of management policies, immediate supervision guidelines and assists in departmental issues and activities. Head of Financial - Accounting Operations is also responsible to set up all accounting standards within the Company to be in compliance with the Provincial and Federal accounting standards.

Develops primary goals, operating plans, policies, and short and long range objectives for the organization. Implements these following management approval. Directs and coordinates activities to achieve profit and return on capital. Establishes organizational structure and leads the organization towards the objectives, meets with and advises management on business results. Determine action plans to meet the needs of stakeholders, represents the organization to the financial community, major customers, government agencies, shareholders and the public.

Essential Functions

Sets forth desired objectives, develops procedures and proposes changes in existing methods;
Plans, organizes, and directs, fiscal and management control functions
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly and annual reports;
Directs and participates in management studies, and reports on complex financial analysis and organizational and administrative policies;
Coordinates debt management with the bank;
Works with the Insurance Company on Risk Management;
Demonstrates continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide seamless customer service;
Selection of automated accounting systems for payroll, accounts payable & receivable, inventory, various taxes etc
Work with the Financial partners and develop long term relationships
Understand the various trade agreements and taxation issues
Keep the management current as to dollar exchange fluctuations and impact on the Company

Three years of experience in managing the financial department of a small to medium company, a good knowledge of domestic and foreign tax
