Absolutely Required
- Advanced knowledge of Object-oriented programming methodology and MVC
- Advanced PHP programming skills (minimum 5 years object-oriented PHP programming experience, and at least 2 years experience with a PHP framework, Zend is preferred)
- Advanced DB knowledge, complex queries, triggers, indexing. Must know how to interact with DB for basic CRUD functions and advanced queries requiring joins, unions, etc...
- Advanced knowledge of web-services (XML-RPC, SOAP)
Should have
- AJAX, HTML, CSS, JS, DHTML (special consideration will be made for candidates with jQuery or DOJO experience)
Can live without it
- Degree in computer science or similar
- Knowledge of SOA architecture
- Must be aware of latest and greatest in today's web-technologies
- Knowledge of open-source software and capacity of working with a multitude of them without inherent knowledge in how they operate (need to be able to hack open-source code) |
